The reef is part of a National Park and motorized water sports are prohibited, so you will not be bothered by the noise of JetSkis and parasail boats. And because Puerto Morelos is a small village and NOT a large tourist destination, you do not see vendors on the beach peddling wares (and disturbing your nap).
