It has three main terminals: one in Playa Tortuga, Cancun Hotel Zone; another one in Puerto Juárez, near Cancun Downtown; and the last, mostly used by locals, is near Costa Mujeres, 'the second Cancun Hotel Zone'. In this last terminal, both cars and motorbikes can board the ship.

Xcaret Ferry

Not too distant from today, Xcaret announced its ferry fleet to provide services from Cancun to Isla Mujeres and become the second major ferry services provider for this route. Due its recentness, ships may be in a better conservation state than those which provided services throughout the last years.

Another option, prolly' the most preferred by young visitors, is to rent a private boat with captain and small crew and get to Isla Mujeres in your own terms: Playing the latest hits, eating some seafood, snorkeling around, and more.
